We are pleased to inform you that in celebration of ‘National Youth Day’ of Bangladesh: Youth Hub ( a global youth-led organization focusing on Tech Education, Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation, and Community Development in line with the United Nations Sustainable Goals (SDGs) and a registered organization under the Ministry of Youth & Sports, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, in collaboration with Inspiring Bangladesh and Commonwealth Youth Innovation Hub, is going to organize an online discussion on ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Youth Employment’ on 1st November 2021 at 09:00 PM Dhaka Time.
The National Youth Day gives an opportunity to celebrate young peoples’ voices, actions, and initiatives and their meaningful engagement and participation in various fields. It is said that young people are the powerhouse for any society or nation. The energy of young people can bring positive changes if used properly. Young people around the world are working for a better tomorrow. At present when the entire world is fighting the pandemic, young people are not lagging behind. On the other hand, Youth can be a positive force for development when provided with the knowledge and opportunities they need to thrive.
That’s why, Youth Hub is working to prepare young people to become productive and engaged citizens and educate school students, especially girls, in Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship. Our aim is to combine the power of education, technology, and innovation to create change to ensure every child and Youth has the best start in life and skills for the future.

বাংলাদেশে প্রতিদিন, লাখ লাখ নারী ও কিশোরী ঋতুস্রাবের সময়টা স্বাস্থ্যসম্মতভাবে, নিরাপদ উপায়ে এবং আত্মবিশ্বাসের সঙ্গে মোকাবেলা করতে গিয়ে চ্যালেঞ্জের সম্মুখীন হয়। এই চ্যালেঞ্জ সচেতনতার অভাবের পাশাপাশি সাংস্কৃতিক রীতিনীতির সঙ্গে মিলিত হয়ে পিরিয়ডকে নারীদের জন্য একটি চাপা সমস্যা হিসেবে পরিণত করে।
ইয়ুথ হাব বাংলাদেশে পিরিয়ড দারিদ্র্য মোকাবেলায় কাজ করছে অনেকদিন ধরে। কিশোরী মেয়েদের জন্য কিভাবে পুন:ব্যবহারযোগ্য, স্বাস্থ্যকর এবং স্যানিটারি প্যাড তৈরি করা যায় সে বিষয়ে প্রশিক্ষণও দেয় এই সংগঠনটি।
এ বিষয়ে ইয়ুথ হাবের সভাপতি পাভেল সারওয়ার বলেন, ‘কিশোরী কন্যার পাশে থাকুন, তাকে বোঝান পিরিয়ড কোনো অসুখ না, এটা নারী জীবনের স্বাভাবিক প্রক্রিয়া। সন্তানের পিরিয়ড হলে তার স্বাস্থ্যকর, পরিষ্কার থাকার বিষয়ে লক্ষ্য রাখুন। ইনফেকশন এড়াতে এসময়ে কাপড়, তুলা, টিস্যু নয় ব্যবহার করতে হবে স্বাস্থ্যসম্মত স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিন।
