Our Responsibilities to the people who are suffering due to cold wave

By News & Event

Even though the privileged, wealthy people welcome the winter with colorful pashminas and festive moods. Still, it brings a lot of suffering to the low-income people in Bangladesh. Quite sadly, many low-income people in Bangladesh cannot afford to buy warm clothes for winter. In this scenario, women and children especially suffer more.

This year, like before, we are distributing winter clothes and new blankets among the low-income families in different districts of Bangladesh. We have already distributed winter clothes in the Mymensingh districts in Bangladesh. We have planed to reach more areas in the north-western part of Bangladesh. The shelter-less people suffer from extreme cold in silence. They cannot afford to buy winter clothes to keep them warm.

Let’s send our love to low-income families & do something for them.

Youth Hub organised a virtual coding event at Fairview International School

By News & Event

On Friday the 29th of October 2021, Youth Hub had the opportunity to host a virtual coding event at Fairview International School . We welcomed about 57 students from all 5 campuses of Fairview International School across Malaysia.

Throughout the class, the students learned about how to make their superhero fly, have a conversation, support your hero and spin using scratch programming. It was the first exposure to coding for some students and it was intriguing to see how they approached and amazed themselves as they had the controlling power over their own superhero. End of the day, the students were really to show their superheroes.

We would like to take this opportunity and show our appreciation towards Fairview International School organizers, especially, Ms Farhana for giving us this opportunity to introduce coding in such a fun manner.

Special credit goes to our campus ambassador Parthiv Farazi for proposing the school to hold this event as a part of his CAS (Creative, Activity and Service) project.
