Kabelan P. Manickavelu has been elected the Regional Director, Malaysia of Youth Hub Initially, he engaged actively in various activities with regards to students development and betterment at university level. He was the Vice President and Public Relation Officer in prominent student-initiated societies at University Technical Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).

He then extended his volunteerism and social service by gathering student ambassadors from 33 renowned public and private tertiary institutions in Malaysia at the Young Indian Leaders Convention (Y1LC) 2015. He as the Assistant Director along with other board of directors, held the convention successfully for the first time in Malaysia with tremendous support shown by youths who participated. Besides, Kabelan has also won the majority votes for Youth Parliament candidature held in 2016 and represented the state of Malacca in the youth Parliament till year 2018. He was also elected the representative for Commonwealth Youths Council Delegate of Malaysia in the same year.

Kabelan is currently pursuing his final year Bachelor Studies in Computer Science majoring in Computer Networking (Hons) at University Technical Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).He intends to expand his network further in volunteerism and scrutinize strategies to improve students’ welfare and leadership skills in the long run.
